Scrabble Art for walls...

I have recently moved to a rented apartment. The apartment is great , but I had to keep staring at some walls which were ripped off the paint at few places by earlier residents. I'm sure many of you'll would agree with me on those little compromises we make when we don't really have much choice. After a lot of inspiration on pinterest I figured out its time to test my creativity. I went ahead and purchased a thermocol sheet , had my hubby to cut out the tiles and painted the tiles with the letters of my choice. Once it was done, we began sticking the tiles to our wall using a scotch tape (which can be removed from walls later and it does not really leave any marks on wall). And it did make a huge apartment wall look so fabulous.I'm loving it. This is a really good solution for people like me who hate those bad walls and want to do something for it. It fits within budget. If we have lived in USA or Europe its easier to buy the scrabbles tiles of your choice and even online order them. But, to save the money and also because the apartment is not really mine, I opted for thermocol tiles.

Below are the picture of before and after the SCRABBLE WALL Fixture. Do share your thoughts with me as to how you feel it has come out.

CHICKEN KEEMA /MINCED MEET BALLS

Keema is nothing but minced meat of any type. Chicken Keema Balls are generally used as starters or used to go along with drinks. It surely tickles the taste buds and I love it spicy. There are many variations of chicken keema balls, however this is the most simplest one and I added a little of Soya sauce to make it more Indo – Chinese.

Ingredients :
Minced chicken – 500 gms
Chopped Onions – 1
Egg – 1
Cornflour –  5 tbsp
Chopped green chillies ½ cup
Curry leaves
Coriander & Mint leaves
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Chilli powder – 1.5 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Chopped Garlic – ½ Cup
MSG (Mono sodium glutamate) – a pinch
Soya sauce – 1tsp
Spring Onions for garnishing

Procedure
Take the minced chicken or we can use chicken cut into small pieces. Take any water that oozes out of chicken.
Marinate the chicken with chopped onions, one beaten egg, little corn flour, chopped green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, coriander powder, chilli powder and pepper powder for an hour or so.
Make small balls of this and deep fry them to golden brown.
Later, in a wok add chopped garlic and finely chopped chillies and sauté for a minute or two on low flames. Don’t allow the garlic to turn brown. You may add a little of MSG (upto your taste) and 1tsp soya sauce.
Add the keema balls to it and toss it for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with spring onions and mint – coriander leaves. Your Chicken keema balls are ready to serve now.
Hope you enjoyed the taste. Do let me know your reviews on the below.

Cute homescreen on mobiles!!!! COCOPPA

Hello Friends

To start off,  I'm a technically challenged person as i find it very hard to understand the technical stuff /Jargon's for simple stuff even on a cellphone. So my old phone was screwed up and I needed a new phone. While everybody looks into the techie side of gadgets, I was simple in my requirements of a cell phone with a good camera and wide screen with android in it.I recently got a new Android phone - Micromax Canvas 4 which is pretty cool. I love to have a personalized screen with all the menu customized by me, which is generally not an option in most of the cell phones. So I looked up to Google Play and with a bit of research here and there, I hit upon this wonderful app called COCOPPA. This works on IPhone as well.It goes with the tag line -

Let's make the cutest home screen
in the world♪

It is a very simple app (especially for people like me!!!) All it took was few minutes for understanding and voila!! I had a brand new customized screen for my cell phone and not the limited stuff we got on the cell. I have shared the snap of my screen.

I just wanted to share how I transformed my home screen with you'll, who must be searching for help online like me..
So..Ready for transforming your screen :
1. Search for the Cocoppa Icon/Wallpaper which is a free app and Download - Install it.
2. When you open the app, you can find some Icons / Wallpapers /Stamps - select either of them based on your requirement.
3. I started with selecting the wall paper for my Home screen. You can move down the page, where it has various search options as in snap.
4. Once you like the wallpaper - click on the Set as Wallpaper and your wallpaper has been selected.
5. Now comes my favorite part -menu icons.
6. Lets take the simple icons- such as messaging  / Gallery - do a search based on the criteria of your choice , select the most favourite one you like and then you would be prompted to Set up link. Click on it and you can choose the application of your choice and there you go..

7. I have set up icons for my regularly used applications viz., Phones, Contacts ,Messages,Gmail, Chrome, Camera ,Notebook etc.
8.You can anytime go back to the other icons that you have. Make sure you don't delete them.
9. Enjoy your personalized home screen on your mobile and be envied by your friends.

Hope this post was of some help to you. I would love to listen from you, both good and bad comments are welcome!!!
